Registration for the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test Opens Aug. 10
MMSD juniors will have the opportunity to take the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, at the Alliant Energy Center.
The test is intended for juniors, as PSAT/NMSQT scores are used to determine eligibility for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Other students may register if space is available.
Registration opens Monday, Aug. 10, 2026 and closes Friday, Sept. 18. The cost is $45 per student. Students can register by visiting the MMSD registration site, completing the required forms and submitting payment.
